Just wanted to let everyone know I am still around, though I have not had much time to create anything new for DA for some time now.

My daughter is both a senior in high school and a freshman in college. I've been taking her senior pics myself, helping her with scholarships, boyfriend issues (what pretty, teenage girl doesn't have those?!), her need for a new job (hers is seasonal and ends in 2 weeks), and finding her a reliable car (thought she had one, but it turns out that it needs more work than expected).

Aside from my daughter's busy life, I'm also taking a class that is killing me, and my allergies are winning the battle for control of my life, though I have (so far) been spared H1N1 or the regular flu. The class is "Air Power and Aerospace History" - it has 3 textbooks, we have to do 2 book reviews (so 2 additional books), weekly assignments, a research paper, etc. The allergies are giving me migraines, blurry vision, and other fun things that make reading all of the stuff for the class a distinct pleasure too.

So... I haven't created a fractal or taken a picture that doesn't involve my beautiful daughter for months, but I do still come here to find out what other people are doing. Take care all.. I'll be back eventually!
