Sorry to all of you who watch me primarily for the fractals. Like many others have been saying, I've been a bit uninspired as far as fractals go right now. I still love them, I'm just not creating anything worth posting!

In the meantime, I hope you will not get too tired of the photos. My daughter has a summer job at the local zoo, and as her car is not reliable enough to transport her that far, I take her there on weekends and hang out most of the day.

I thought spending the day at the zoo would be tough on my asthma, foot problems, and/or allergies (yes, I'm falling apart!), but at the moment nothing has bothered me. I spend the first 2-4 hours that I'm there wandering around from one end of the zoo to the other. I have no idea how much land this actually covers, but all of the walking can't be a bad thing regardless! When I get tired of walking, I stop and read a book for an hour or so. If my daughter still isn't off work, I start wandering around again.

Though there are a ton of things I could be doing at home, I intend to keep going to the zoo in the morning at least until the weather becomes too unbearably hot, or the crowds become unbearable (period).

So... sorry if you prefer the fractals over the photos, but this is where my passion lies at the moment. I'm sure I'll get back to fractals before too long!
